Baseball Prospectus is proud to be a sponsor of Sabermetrics, Scouting, and the Science of Baseball, the fourth-annual series of baseball presentations, panels, and discussions held to benefit the Jimmy Fund, a Boston-area cancer research charity.

The event will take place August 16-17 in Boston, MA, and tickets are on sale now.

The list of participants is already impressive, and growing daily. Headlining the event are Ben Cherington, GM of the World Champion Boston Red Sox, and Jeff Luhnow, GM of the Houston Astros.

Representing BP will be Harry Pavlidis, Dan Brooks, Russell Carleton, frequent contributor Alan Nathan, and more. Other speakers include Mitchel Litchtman, Dave Cameron, Matt Swartz, and Vince Gennaro.

Again, all proceeds from the event are donated directly to the Jimmy Fund.
