Internet Baseball Awards Are Here
by Dave Pease

Voting for the 22nd annual Greg Spira Memorial Internet Baseball Awards balloting is now open. As always, the IBAs are completely free—we just need you to have any level of Baseball Prospectus account so we can verify who is voting—and voting qualifies you to win a year of Baseball Prospectus Premium or a free copy of Dollar Sign on the Muscle. The IBAs are the longest-running online balloting for baseball awards that we know of—predating Baseball Prospectus itself by years—and we're proud of the decisions our voters have made throughout the years. If you haven't already cast your ballot, we hope you'll do so.
We've made a change to the awards pages this year based on your feedback.
- Your public ballot will be displayed whenever you are logged in at BP. This will make it easy for you to see who you have voted for at any time. Remember, you can always re-vote up until the voting deadline. Please do not include postseason performance when deciding who to vote for. Click here for more information on how the public ballot works, and be sure to share your ballot so friends and acquaintances alike can benefit from your wisdom.
As usual, we're giving out free Baseball Prospectus Premium subscriptions or extensions to a few lucky voters. This year, we've also got e-books and paperbacks of Dollar Sign on the Muscle, the Baseball Prospectus re-print of Kevin Kerrane's groundbreaking book on the world of baseball scouting. Each category you vote for increases your chances of winning.
Balloting concludes Friday, October 25 at 11:00PM PST. Click here to cast your vote or access your ballot.
