Baseball Prospectus Announces Multi-Year Partnership with MLBAM
Postseason Probabilities visual data representation debuts on MLB.com
New York, NY (September 4, 2013) – Baseball Prospectus, owner of BaseballProspectus.com (BPro), and MLB Advanced Media (MLBAM), the interactive media and Internet company of Major League Baseball, today announced a multi-year partnership to share data and analysis for new and exciting features coming to MLB.com and BaseballProspectus.com.
The partnership’s debut feature on MLB.com is Postseason Probabilities, an interactive visualization of the current standings and each team's chances of winning the division or wild card, or securing a postseason berth (http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/standings/probability.jsp). Additional content and features will be forthcoming as Baseball Prospectus and MLBAM collaborate to leverage their respective analysis and data.
