I haven't had the time to do in-depth research on the hitless streaks vs pitchers thing (to do it right I'll have to finally break down and build a play-by-play database) but I went to the top of the career innings list (figuring that guys who saw lots of guys would be my best chance to find one of these) and started working my way down.
It turns out that Gates Brown had 31 career PA vs Nolan Ryan without a hit, but Ryan did walk him 7 times (and even allowed an RBI).
I didn't find any other .000 OBP matchups with a greater number of PA than the Ray Durham/Mariano Rivera matchup. But there's still time...
