Florida State commit Oscar Mercado (SS), out of Gaither High School (Tampa, FL) profiles as a true up-the-middle talent at the next level. In addition to a smooth glove, Mercado has flashed increasing potential at the plate over the past twelve months, likely placing him high on follow lists for the spring. A solid senior year should land him somewhere in the first round come June. Today’s videos showcase Mercado at the plate during each of the past two Octobers.
