Daily Draft Video: Brian Ragira

With a strong spring 1B/OF Brian Ragira (Stanford Univ.) could find his way into the second or third round of the MLB Draft. He produces some bat speed at the plate and can put on impressive raw power displays in BP that haven’t yet begun to consistently manifest in-game. As a prep player Ragira projected well to right field, but he has seen his speed and playable range lessen over the past three years and could be tied to first base as a pro. Today’s video was taken during a double-header against the Univ. of Southern California this spring.
