It was a busy, busy weekend. On Friday, Bobby Abreu set the Tater Trot Tracker record for slowest non-injury-related trot. Then, on Saturday, Michael Morse set a record of his own, with one of the most bizarre grand slam trots you'll ever see. Morse's trot is also (likely) the longest trot by distance-traveled you or I have ever seen.

Things are a bit more back to normal now, so let's get right to the trots!

Home Run of the Day: Miguel Cabrera, Detroit Tigers - 21.34 seconds [video]
If the Triple Crown race were a Lakers game and I was Chick Hearn, I might be saying something like "This game's in the refrigerator: the door is closed, the lights are out, the eggs are cooling, the butter's getting hard, and the Jell-O's jigglin'!"

With 44 home runs and a four-hit game on Monday, Cabrera is in a very good place with two games to go in the season. I'm excited.

Slowest Trot: Andre Ethier, Los Angeles Dodgers - 26.07 seconds [video]
The twentieth home run of the year for the Dodgers fan-favorite. Ethier edges out Rickie Weeks, who spent 25.34 seconds on the bases after his own bomb, for the night's slowest trot. It's the fourth 26-second trot in three nights, with Matt Kemp (26.73 seconds) and Yoenis Cespedes (26.22 seconds) doing the same thing on Sunday night and Alfonso Soriano (26.15 seconds) leading the trend on Saturday.

Quickest Trot: Giancarlo Stanton, Miami Marlins - 18.33 seconds [video]
Stanton is on fire, hitting three home runs in four games since coming back to the lineup. Monday's homer was laced over the left-center field wall, barely scraping the edge of the 1-foot wall. Stanton responded by flying around the bases, touching home un 18.33 seconds.
