A quick one today. Let's get right to the trots!

Home Run of the Day: Pedro Alvarez, Pittsburgh Pirates - 21.2 seconds [video]
The Pirates finally won their 19-inning marathon in St. Louis by the score of 6-3, but it was Alvarez's one-out home run that gave Pittsburgh the run they needed.

In other notable news, Giancarlo Stanton did not hit a home run in his seventh consecutive game at Coors Field on Sunday and Michael Young, who had not hit a home run since May 7, stopped at second base on his shot despite it going well over the fence. Young's trot was not timed.

Slowest Trot: Jhonny Peralta, Detroit Tigers - 25.07 seconds [video]
A first-inning, three-run blast from Peralta. This one got the Detroit announcers excited. The next slowest trot was from Adrian Gonzalez, who made his trip around the Yankee Stadium bases in 24.88 seconds.

Quickest Trot: Bryce Harper, Washington Nationals - 18.26 seconds [video]
It's not enough to get on the top 10 list for quickest tater trots of the season anymore, but it is nice to see Harper back to hitting home runs and sprinting around the bases. Jordan Pacheco and Aaron Hill were the next two quickest trotters on the day.
