2006: Justin Verlander wins the Rookie of the Year award. He is 38 months older than Felix Hernandez.

2007: Dustin Pedroia wins the ROY award. He is 30 months older than Felix Hernandez. (Brian Bannister finishes third. He is 61 months older.)

2008: Alexei Ramirez finishes second in ROY voting. He is 55 months older than Felix Hernandez. (Jacoby Ellsbury finishes third; he is 31 months older.)

2009: Andrew Bailey wins the ROY award. He is 23 months older than Felix Hernandez.
