Trade deadline season is fun, eh? While we wait for all the big news, let's get right to the trots!

Home Run of the Day: Kendrys Morales, Los Angeles Angels #2 - 24.76 seconds [video]
Two home runs by the same player in one inning is a pretty rare, pretty memorable event. Two home runs with one from each side of the plate? That had happened only two times ever heading into last night. Kendry Morales added his name to the list in the sixth inning of Monday's game when he hit a grand slam from the right side of the plate off Robbie Ross. The other two to achieve the feat were Carlos Baerga in 1993 and Mark Bellhorn in 2002.

Slowest Trot: AJ Pierzynski, Chicago White Sox - 24.94 seconds [video]
Pierzynski edges out Morales for the top spot here. Neither trot was egregiously slow. Two other players clocked in with 24+-second trots Monday night.

Quickest Trot: Rajai Davis, Toronto Blue Jays - 17.72 seconds [video]
A leadoff home run for Davis that cleared the leftfield wall at Safeco just inches beyond the outstretched glove of Casper Wells. The video doesn't show Davis' reaction on the bases, but there's a good chance the trot was so speedy because Davis didn't know where the ball had landed. It was his quickest trot of the year by over three seconds. Josh Hamilton and Brandon Hicks each had some quick trots of their own, but they didn't come close to Davis' speed.
