The weekend draws near, so let's not waste any time. Right to the trots!

Home Run of the Day: Cody Ross, Boston Red Sox - 21.42* seconds [video]
The third home run from Ross in two days, and he made sure this one was important. A walkoff blast to the Green Monster gave the Red Sox the win and kept Hawk Harrelson silent for over a minute. Ross clearly enjoyed it, judging by the immense bat flip immediately after making contact.

Slowest Trot: Brandon Phillips, Cincinnati Reds - 26.34 seconds [video]
The Diamondbacks were crushing the Reds on Thursday - until they weren't. Cincinnati's first cut into Arizona's 6-0 lead was this home run by Brandon Phillips, a 3-run blast. Phillips enjoyed the jog around the bases so much he didn't seem to want it to end. The next slowest trot was over a second faster, a 25.03 second trot from David Wright (his second of the day).

Quickest Trot: Nick Swisher, New York Yankees - 19.49* seconds [video]
Swisher edges out Arizona's Aaron Hill by the barest of margins to come home with the quickest trot of the day. Ryan Zimmerman was the only other trotter to break the 20-second mark.
