Want To Work For The St. Louis Cardinals?

by Kevin Goldstein

Here at Baseball Prospectus, we're always happy to help out the industry. One of the most common questions we get is, “How can I get a job in baseball?” So when one becomes available, we are always happy to help out.

And this works. Two years ago an anonymous team sent a job description to us, we posted it, and one of the people who applied through our post got the gig and now works every day helping to build scouting and player evaluation applications in a major league front office.

The St. Louis Cardinals have contacted us to ask us to share a pair of openings they have in their front office, in the Baseball Operations department. If you know databases and/or web development, these are great entry-level positions in the wonderful world of baseball. And with the World Series champions at that. Good luck everyone.
