  • Oswaldo Arcia, OF, Twins (High-A Fort Myers): 3-for-3, 2B, HR (6), 2 R, RBI. .275/.298/.490 shows all of the good with all of the bat, as he can really hit, but is swinging the bat a little too much.
  • Chris Archer, RHP, Rays (Double-A Montgomery): 7 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 5 BB, 4 K. Control continues to be the only issue, as the stuff to be a good big league starter is there.
  • Joe Benson, OF, Twins (Double-A New Britain): 2-for-5, 2 HR (13), 2 R, 6 RBI, K. .283/.379/.489 in 92 games; how close a look does he get next spring?
  • Lorenzo Cain, OF, Royals (Triple-A Omaha): 3-for-4, 2B, R, RBI, K. Seemingly every young Royal getting a look except him; .306/.376/.506 in 111 games.
  • Christopher Hawkins, OF, Blue Jays (Rookie-level Bluefield): 3-for-4, 2 RBI, K, SB. 2010 third-rounder is big time athlete who is figuring out how to hit; .309/.355/.495 in 55 games.
  • Adeiny Hechevarria, SS, Blue Jays (Triple-A Las Vegas): 2-for-4, R, BB. Six straight multi-hit games (14-for-25) to begin his Triple-A career.
  • Tommy Joseph, C, Giants (High-A San Jose): 1-for-5, HR (19), 2 R, 2 RBI, BB, K. Seven home runs in last seven games have lifted slugging 59 points; .270/.312/.469 in 111 games.
  • Trevor May, RHP, Phillies (High-A Clearwater): 6 IP, 6 H, 4 R, 1 BB, 11 K. Second in the minors with 189 strikeouts in 137.1 innings including seven double-digit efforts.
  • Matt Moore, LHP, Rays (Triple-A Rays): 4 IP, 1 H, 1 R, 3 BB, 8 K. Slowing down as he's pitched 137 innings this year; 57 strikeouts in 34.2 Triple-A innings.
  • Logan Morrison, OF, Marlins (Triple-A New Orleans): 2-for-4, 2B, HR (1), R, 3 RBI. Give him credit for not pouting, or maybe he's playing with anger. Either way, he's hitting.
  • Chih-Fang Pan, 2B, Athletics (Short-season Vermont): 2-for-3, K. 20-year-old Taiwan native has exceptionally quick bat but little power; 20-for-49 (.408) during 13-game hitting streak and .343/.378/.394 overall.
  • Jarrod Parker, RHP, Diamondbacks (Double-A Mobile): 6 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 3 BB, 6 K. Season is strange combination of dominant lines and occasional clunkers; 3.89 ERA with 103 strikeouts in 115.2 innings.
  • Francisco Peguero, OF, Giants (Double-A Richmond): 3-for-4, 2B, R, 2 RBI. Hitting .436 in his last ten games and .303/.317/.448 overall; how long can he keep it up while drawing one walk per 50 at-bats?
  • Wily Peralta, RHP, Brewers (Triple-A Nashville): 7 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 9 K. Second-half surge continues; candidate to make big league debut in Monday double-header.
  • Guillermo Pimentel, OF, Mariners (Rookie-level Pulaski): 3-for-5, HR (9), R, 3 RBI. First home run since July 7; .272/.319/.446 in 52 games.
  • Drew Pomeranz, LHP, Rockies (Double-A Tulsa): 7 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 4 K. Took perfect game into the seventh innings in Colorado system debut.
  • Jacob Realmuto, C, Marlins (Low-A Greensboro): 3-for-4, R, K, SB. 2010 draftee converted to catcher has shown gap power and improving defense; .282/.346/.432 overall.
  • Enny Romero, LHP, Rays (Low-A Bowling Green): 5 IP, 2 H, 0 R, BB, 10 K. With 127 strikeouts in just 99.1 innings, he's more than proven that he can miss bats and could take off with more strikes.
  • Eddie Rosario, OF, Twins (Rookie-level Elizabethton): 2-for-3, HR (12), 2 R, 2 RBI, BB, SB. First home run this month but still at .306/.356/.566 overall.
  • Aaron Sanchez, RHP, Blue Jays (Rookie-level Bluefield): 5 IP, 2 H, 1 R, 0 BB, 7 K. Had 7.84 ERA in first six games but has allowed just one run in four of last five starts.
  • Miguel Sano, 3B/SS, Twins (Rookie-level Elizabethton): 1-for-4, HR (15), R, 2 RBI, 2 K. Leads Appy League with 15 home runs in 210 at-bats; will he still be an infielder in full-season debut next year?
  • Andrelton Simmons, SS, Braves (High-A Lynchburg): 3-for-5, 3B, HR (1), 2 R, RBI, CS. First home run in game number 115 gets his slugging above .400; .306/.344/.401 overall.
  • Ronald Torreyes, 2B, Reds (Low-A Dayton): 3-for-5, 2B, 2 R. Has slowed down significantly with first multi-hit game in two weeks; .361/.410/.463 overall.
  • Juan Urbina, LHP, Mets (Rookie-level Kingsport): 6 IP, 5 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 3 K. Best start of season for 18-year-old high-profile signing; 5.83 ERA overall.
  • Kolbrin Vitek, 3B, Red Sox (High-A Salem): 2-for-5, 2B, HR (3), R, 4 RBI. Has hit .317/.376/.425 since the break, but overall his season has been underwhelming.
  • Josh Vitters, 3B/1B, Cubs (Double-A Tennessee): 2-for-5, 2 R. Third straight multi-hit game and hitting .361 in August; .288/.322/.452 overall.
