August 14, 2011 Tater Trot TrackerTrot Times for August 13Going through the home run list prior to timing the trots, it seemed like a pretty typical Saturday. A home run here and there, maybe two or three home runs in every other game or so. And then I got down to the Padres/Reds game, where eight home runs were hit - seven by Cincinnati! That ball was just flying out of Great American Ballpark yesterday afternoon, especially off the bats of Miguel Cairo and Ryan Hanigan, who had two home runs apiece. You just can't explain things sometimes. Let's get to the trots!
Home Run of the Day: Dan Uggla, Atlanta Braves - 20.25 seconds [video]
Slowest Trot: Paul Konerko, Chicago White Sox - 26.81 seconds [video]
Quickest Trot: Blake Davis, Baltimore Orioles - 17.08 seconds [video]
