-
James Baldwin, OF, Dodgers (Rookie-level Orgen): 2-for-5, 2B, HR (7), 2 R, 5 RBI, BB, K. Fantastic tools with a lot of swing-and-miss; .266/.348/.492 in 30 games.
-
Dante Bichette, 3B, Yankees (Rookie-level GCL): 2-for-2, 2 BB. Top Yankees pick in June has a .458 on-base percentage in first 39 pro games.
-
Gary Brown, OF, Giants (High-A San Jose): 2-for-4, 2B, 3 R, RBI, BB, K. Very little not to like about hit .318/.388/.471 line; He could use more walks, but has already made significant progress in that department.
-
Cito Culver, SS, Yankees (Short-season Staten Island): 3-for-5, 2 2B, 2 R, RBI, SB. Snaps out of 3-for-28 slump; .272/.342/.374 overall.
-
Randall Delgado, RHP, Braves (Triple-A Gwinnett): 7 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 6 K. Now has 13 shutout innings since promotion; opposing hitters are 6-for-43 (.140) with 15 strikeouts.
-

-
Ryan Lavarnway, C, Red Sox (Triple-A Pawtucket): 0-for-2, R, 2 BB, K. 5-for-34 (.147) in last ten games but still at .328/.410/.651 on the season.
-
Zach Lee, RHP, Dodgers (Low-A Great Lakes): 6 IP, 3 H, 2 R, 1 BB, 7 K. Has not given up more than two earned runs in a game since mid-June; 3.13 ERA in 92 innings.
-
Steve Lombardozzi, 2B, Nationals (Triple-A Syracuse): 3-for-5, 2B, 2 R. 18-for-49 (.367) during ten-game hitting streak and up to .327/.364/.441 in 48 games since promotion.
-
Brett Marshall, RHP, Yankees (High-A Tampa): 5 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 4 K. Up and down season leads to solid-but-unspectacular 3.88 ERA; scouting reports vary wildly based on the day they see him.
-
Brian Matusz, LHP, Orioles (Triple-A Norfolk): 9 IP, 5 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 8 K. Needed just 105 pitches; next start on Tuesday likely in the big leagues.
-
Joe Panik, SS, Giants (Short-season Salem-Keizer): 2-for-4, 2B, 2 R, 2 RBI, BB, 2 SB. Mildly surprising first-round pick has been making the Giants look smart with .339/.402/.438 line in first 49 games.
-
Eddie Rosario, OF, Twins (Rookie-level Elizabethton): 3-for-4, 2 2B, 2 R, 2 RBI, 2 SB. Has just one home runs in his last sixteen games, but he's still hitting; 8-for-14 in last four and .313/.361/.582 overall.
-
Cory Spangenberg, 2B, Padres (Low-A Fort Wayne): 2-for-4, 2B, HR (1), 2 R, 2 RBI. First-round pick seems to be finally finding his swing after brutal start to full-season ball; .190/.257/.270 in 26 games.
-
Donavan Tate, OF, Padres (Short-season Eugene): 4-for-5, R, 3 RBI, BB. Still think writing him off is a mistake; .308/.407/.433 in 26 games.
-
Mason Williams, OF, Yankees (Short-season Staten Island): 2-for-3, 3B, R, 3 RBI, BB, CS. Tools galore and performance are a wonderful combination; hitting .500 (21-for-42) in August and .369/.414/.517 overall.
-
Tony Wolters, SS, Indians (Short-season Mahoning Valley): 2-for-4, 2B, 3 R, RBI, SB. Has been among best pure hitters in New York-Penn League; .308/.399/.398 in 51 games.
