Trot Times for June 16

It's the end of the week, so let's get right to the trots! The weekend can't come fast enough.

Home Run of the Day: Justin Upton, Arizona Diamondbacks - 22.18 seconds [video]
There were two walkoff home runs on Thursday night. Washington's Danny Espinosa may have hit the bigger one, with his securing a three-game sweep of the St. Louis Cardinals, but Upton gets the Home Run of the Day for his trot. Those D-backs seemed to be having quite a lot of fun.

Slowest Trot: Chipper Jones, Atlanta Braves - 27.89 seconds [video]
Chipper isn't exactly known for his quick trots these days - I think you need a knee or two for that - but he's not usually this slow. We can blame it on the two baserunners ahead of him, neither of whom really seemed to care about getting home all that quickly. The next slowest trot belonged to Adrian Gonzalez, who came home in only 24.27 seconds.

Quickest Trot: Jayson Werth, Washington Nationals - 19.8 seconds [video]
One of seven home runs hit in the Cardinals/Nationals game. It was also the only home run of the 27 hit across the league on Thursday to come in under twenty seconds.
