April 27, 2011 Tater Trot TrackerTrot Times for April 26There were five different players across the league on Tuesday who went home after the game celebrating a multi-home run day. It generally feels rare just seeing one person with two home runs in a game, so seeing five on the same night is pretty impressive. It's just one of those weird, random occurrences, I guess. Unless, of course, pitchers from San Diego, Texas, Chicago, Kanas City and New York all conspired together to make it a night we wouldn't forget. Sounds plausible. Let's get to the trots!
Home Run of the Day: Todd Helton #2, Colorado Rockies - 26.12 seconds [video] Watch the clip. It sounds a little more over the top than it reads.
Slowest Trot: Todd Helton #2, Colorado Rockies - 26.12 seconds [video] Other players hitting two home runs on Tuesday were Wilson Ramos, Jack Hannahan, Adam Lind, and David Ross.
Quickest Trot: Grady Sizemore, Cleveland Indians - 19.17 seconds [video]
