Baseball Prospectus continues its new industry chat series as readers get a chance to interact with Paul DePodesta, the New York Mets' Vice President of Player Development & Amateur Scouting.

DePodesta, who obviously is known for his work with the Oakland A's, was most recently a front office assistant for the San Diego Padres. Prior to that he served as the general manager of the Los Angeles Dodgers from 2004-2005.
