I'm impressed overall, but this Edwin Diaz nonsense was a big let down. Can we talk about the other Edwin Diaz?

I'm glad the podcast is back: But it seems really anxious and fast paced(especially Mau). I'm assuming this is the .9 episode, but take a cue from the dead Up and In and even TINO and make it casual.

The appeal of Up and In was that felt natural. Like their goal was: To create the nature of a conservation that could have happened in a bar between scouts after a few drinks. I like the content, but my advise is to work on the flow. Don't make it seem so forced, rushed, and uncomfortable. I'm not hating on the product, just giving some feedback I hope will help and be appreciated.

Thanks,

Three Time .9er.

Thanks for caring. It is tough to give objective criticism for me, but I love these podcast and respect your opinions. I know Up And In was a once in a lifetime experience, but if you could all just pick a random episode to observe the flow and see the appeal in the casual nature. Another factor was this: This is Baseball Prospectus. It is a analytic driven site, but KG and Parks always gave me the other side of the coin. Their views convinced me to understand things like closer mentality, clubhouse guys, and the mentality of baseball players.

I understand and have written quite a bit on statistics. I took rankings for granted for prospects. But the advantage of these podcasts is seeing the other side. I get a window into a scouts, the industry, players, and the factors in a front office we don't get. I denied the whole closer mentality thing until KG mentioned that all of us have had jobs and would want some guy handling the pressure of a deadline...etc. I get it now. Making someone who looks at the numbers see the other side is very important.
