  • CBS Sports' Danny Knobler reports that the Marlins are telling teams RP Steve Cishek is unavailable.
  • Major League Baseball has suspended Diamondbacks pitching prospect Eric Smith 50 games for violating the league's substance abuse policy.
  • Cardinals manager Mike Matheny said that SP Michael Wacha and SP Tyler Lyons are candidates to start one of the games of Tuesday's doubleheader in Pittsburgh.
  • Rockies RP Collin McHugh is expected to replace Drew Pomeranz in the Rockies' rotation on Saturday against the Brewers.

American League:

  • Steven Marcus of New York Newsday reports that the Yankees plan to discipline 3B Alex Rodriguez for seeking a second opinion on his quad injury without getting permission first.
  • According to ESPN's Jayson Stark, the Red Sox, Cardinals, Dodgers, Braves, Orioles, Reds and Rangers scouted White Sox SP Jake Peavy's start Thursday vs. Detroit.
  • CBS Sports' Jon Heyman reports that the Cubs are expected to assume more than half of the remaining $24 million remaining on OF Alfonso Soriano's contract when the trade with the Yankees goes through.
  • Red Sox SP Brandon Workman will have his next start pushed back following Thursday's rainout.

I think Colby Lewis will be pitching in Frisco Sunday. Your article reads as such, but also lists the earlier news of him starting in Round Rock on Sunday.
