  • Pirates OF Andrew McCutchen hit his 13th and 14th homers.
  • Pirates SP Charlie Morton pitched 6 2/3 innings and allowed three runs.
  • Nationals SP Dan Haren surrendered five runs in five innings.
  • Nationals OF Jayson Werth had a second straight two-homer, knocking in four runs.

  • Diamondbacks SS Didi Gregorius went 3-for-3 with a double and a walk.

  • Twins SP Samuel Deduno picked up the win going 7 innings allowing just two runs.
  • Angels SP Joe Blanton was roughed up allowing four runs in just 3.2 innings in the loss.

  • Twins RP Glen Perkins picked up his 24th save of the year.

  • Starting on 11 days' rest, Mariners SP Aaron Harang pitched seven innings of one-run ball.
  • Mariners RP Tom Wilhelmsen picked up his third save in four days with a scoreless ninth.
  • Mariners C Mike Zunino went 2-for-3 and hit his second big-league homer.

  • Rockies SP Armando Galarraga suffered a forearm strain while pitching in a game at Triple-A Colorado Springs.

In White Sox-Tigers game- Torii Hunter, Dayan Viciedo and Conor Gilaspie all homered. For all three it was their 8th home run of the season.
