  • Phillies SP Jonathan Pettibone went 7 innings allowing just one earned run in a no decision.

  • Rockies OF Carlos Gonzalez went 2-for-3 with two RBI, a run scored, a stolen base and two walks.

American League:

  • Royals SP Luis Mendoza allowed just two runs on eight hits over six innings.
  • Athletics RP Ryan Cook earned his first save of the season filling in for Grant Balfour who was unavailable.
  • Athletics SP A.J. Griffin gave up three runs on seven hits over six innings in a no-decision.
  • Athletics OF Yoenis Cespedes hit his 8th homer of the year.
  • Royals OF Alex Gordon went 4-for-5 with an RBI and a run scored.

  • Angels SP Jason Vargas threw seven scoreless innings for the win.

  • Nationals SP Nate Karns allowed three runs on seven hits over six innings and had six strikeouts in his start at Double-A Harrisburg.
  • Dodgers OF Scott Van Slyke left Sunday's game with an apparent leg injury.
  • Phillies 1B Ryan Howard will have a precautionary MRI on his left knee Monday.
  • Rockies SP Roy Oswalt struck out nine while allowing only a bunt single over five innings in an extended spring training start on Saturday.
  • Marlins 1B Joe Mahoney (hamstring) will begin a rehab assignment with High-A Jupiter this week.
  • Marlins 1B Logan Morrison (knee) is slated to begin a rehab assignment with High-A Jupiter on Monday.
  • Cardinals SP Jake Westbrook (elbow) played light catch on Sunday.

  • Phillies SP Tyler Cloyd will be recalled to start on Tuesday against the Marlins.

American League:
  • Rays manager Joe Maddon said he planned to have SP Jake Odorizzi make all of the starts in place of the injured David Price (triceps).
  • Orioles SP Freddy Garcia will start on Monday against the Yankees.
